Can ADVOCATE - Residential Construction Advisors help if I already have a builder or architect?

I already have contractor bids—can ADVOCATE - Residential Construction Advisors help me make the right choice?

Yes, our team is skilled at evaluating sub-contractor and builder bids to ensure that all of the required scope is included and that any issues with the legal terms in the agreements are thoroughly evaluated.

What factors are considered when helping me choose who will make up the team for my home build?

The key factors involved in team assembly that we consider are the type of home design the client prefers, the level of finishes required, and the complexity of the build. We have found that identifying teams with the right skill sets to execute the project is critical to its success.

Is there a minimum project budget?

There is no minimum budget, but to ensure best value for the homeowner, we are currently only taking on custom new builds or full renovations (not just one or two rooms).

What types of clients are the best fit for ADVOCATE - Residential Construction Advisors?

Clients with major projects that want to ensure that someone is looking out for their best interest.

How many builders and architects are typically considered for bids?

Usually 2-4 are adequate – less does not provide comparison between different bidders and more quickly loses value compared to what is gained.

Not having a singular point of contact, focused solely on the homeowner’s goals and interests, ensuring that the entire process runs on time and on budget.
